Dr. Tuncay BAYRAK

Biomedical Engineer, MSc.

Tuncay Bayrak was born in Malatya, Turkey. He received his diploma in Biomedical Engineering from the Baskent University, Ankara, Turkey in 2009, and a Master of Science degree in the field of signal processing from the Biomedical Engineering Department in 2012. He started to work in Biomedical Engineering Department of Baskent University as research assistant in 2009. He developed a medical software with support of Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in 2012. In 2013, he joined the PhD program of the Computer Engineering Department at Baskent University. He worked at many projects in field of the signal processing and bio instrument. He is the member of WHO Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Information Network – Medical device subgroup. He worked in some WHO projects related to medical device regulations. He is currently working at Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency as health expert. His research interests are biomedical signal processing, bioinformatics, and medical device regulation.
