Gökhan Ceylan is a medical doctor who is working as a medical research manager in Switzerland.
He received his M.D degree from Gulhane Military Medical Faculty in 2003 and started to work for TAF. After resigning from the TAF he did his specialization first in pediatrics at Dr.Sami Ulus Children Research and Training Hospital and later on pediatric intensive care at Dr.Behcet Uz Children Research and Training Hospital.
His main research topic is respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation support of the critically ill child. He is an author of more than forty articles and several book chapters in pediatric intensive care and pediatric palliative care. He was the primary investigator for two European Union founded phase 3 and 2b clinical trials and sub investigator in several open label trials. Currently he is running several clinical trial projects about novel technologies in respiratory failure in Turkey, EU and USA.
